Southwest Social Services Programs, Inc. has been serving senior
citizens throughout Miami-Dade County since 1981. The services we offer include home delivered
meals in senior centers, screening and assessment, nutrition education,
recreational activities, education, and transportation.
Southwest Social Services Programs, Inc. also has a partnership with FARM SHARE to help alleviate hunger and malnutrition by distributing fresh and nutritious food to needy seniors in a monthly basis.
Seniors over the age of 60, not participating in a long-term program funded by the state or federal government, are eligible for all services described above.
Southwest Social Services Programs, Inc. is a not for profit organization funded by federal, state and local sources such as: Older American Act, Nutrition Supplement (NSIP), Emergency Food and Shelter Program (EFSP), Local Services Program, City of Miami, Miami Dade County, Florida Department of Transportation, United Way of Miami-Dade County, and private donations.
